Jasmine Hartin Granted £10,500 Bail
Jasmine Hartin, a Canadian socialite and daughter-in-law of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft, has been granted bail of $30,000 Belize dollars (£10,500).

Gatekeepers News reports that Hartin was released from Belize City prison on Thursday after being charged with the manslaughter of police officer Henry Jemmott, 42-year-old and father of five children whose body was found in the water off San Pedro.

Hartin, 32, who is married to Ashcroft’s son Andrew, was released after the court heard she was suffering from “extreme anxiety and pain”

The socialite’s bail conditions require her to surrender her travel and other personal documents. She will not be allowed to leave the country without the permission of the Supreme Court.

Hartin must also report to the police station in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District every day.
