APGA Clears Soludo For June 23 Primary Election

All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has cleared the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Charles Soludo to contest for the party’s primary Governorship election in Anambra State.

Gatekeepers News reports that the APGA screening committee of prospective governorship aspirants cleared Soludo and three others while 5 other prospective aspirants were disqualified to contest the party primary.

The party screening committee’s decision was contained in a statement signed by the party National Organizing Secretary, Ifeanyi Mbaeri.

Gatekeepers News reports that the former Special Advisor on Technical Matters to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Nwankpo Sullivan Akachukwu, Member Representing Aguata Federal Constituency Chuma Umeoji and three others were disqualified from contesting.

The party primary has been scheduled to hold on the 23rd of June in line with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable for party primaries.
