NCDC Records 86 New COVID-19 Cases And One Death

NCDC has recorded 86 New COVID-19 cases and one death.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 86 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 21 June 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 167,292.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily report, said today’s cases include the data from Lagos State for the 19th & 20th of June, 2021

The infections were recorded in just three states: Lagos-52, Ondo-31, and Adamawa-3.

Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,118 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 163,797 have recovered and have been discharged.

In other news, a total of 2,034,150 eligible persons have received their first jab, while 916,737 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose have collected their 2nd dose.

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) made this known in its COVID-19 Vaccination Update for 21 June 2021.
