Nuno Espirito Santo has been appointed As New Tottenham Manager.
Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been appointed as new Tottenham manager.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nuno has signed a two-year contract until 2023.
Nuno left Wolves in May after four impressive seasons when he took the club from the Championship to a Europa League quarter-final.
For more than two months, Spurs have been looking to replace Jose Mourinho who was sacked in May as Ryan Mason oversaw the first team on an interim basis for their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City and the end of the Premier League campaign.
In his reaction to the appointment, Nuno said: “It’s an enormous pleasure and honour [to be at Spurs]. I’m happy and looking forward to starting work.
“We don’t have any days to lose and we must start working immediately as pre-season starts in a few days.”
Gatekeepers News reports that Nuno will be facing his former club as Spurs have a trip to Molineux to face Wolves in their second league game of the season on the 22nd of August.
