Gatekeepers News reports that Nigerian actress in the Kannywood industry, Zainab Booth has passed on, her colleague, Ali Nuhu confirmed.
Nuhu, her colleague in the industry, broke the news via his verified Instagram page.
He also disclosed that Zainab will be buried on Friday in Kano, North-west, Nigeria.
“With the deepest heart, I announced the demised of Hajiya Zainab Booth. The Jana’iza prayers will hold on Friday at her residence, opposite Premiere Hospital in the morning,” he wrote.
Zainab is the mother to Maryam Booth, another film star, who’s well known in Kannywood for the motherly roles she played in movies.
Kannywood is the Hausa-language film industry of northern Nigeria which is based in Kano.
