Euro 2020: England/Denmark Qualify For Semifinals

England and Denmark have qualified for the 2020 European Championship semifinals.

Gatekeepers News reports that England thrashed Ukraine while Denmark surmounted the Czech Republic to qualify for the Euro 2020 semifinals.

It was the Harrys day as Harry Kane kicked in two goals and Harry Maguire scored a goal out of England’s 4 scores netted into the Ukrainians’ side on Saturday.

Kane who gave his team an earlier lead by scoring his first goal in the 4th minute into the match, and later the third at 50th minute, was named UEFA’s Star of the Match.

Manchester United’s Maguire registered his score a minute after halftime.

Jordan Henderson finally crushed Andriy Shevchenko’s sides hope of a comeback, by leading the Three Lions to a 4-0 victory in the European Championship semifinals.

Meanwhile, Denmark have proven to be a formidable force despite their traumatic opener as their star player, Christian Eriksen’s collapsed on the pitch against Finland at Euro 2020 tournament.

Last week, Kasper Hjulmand said the Eriksen incident, and the support they have subsequently received as a team, have “given wings” to his players.

On Saturday, the Danish men without Eriksen recorded their lead goal against the Czechs at the 5th minute through Thomas Delaney, and Kasper Dolberg doubled it at the 42nd minute.

Although Czech star, Patrik Schick tried meeting up with the Danes whom they were two goals behind, bringing the result to 2-1.

Schick’s efforts were just enough to stop Denmark from reaching their first semi-final stage of the European Championship since 1992.

Wednesday’s faceoff between Denmark and England will determine the potential champions of the Euro 2020.
