NGM is a community where ideas, experience and tools are unleashed, to empower young people aspiring to become great leaders as entrepreneurs and corporate executives. We are committed to achieving our personal and professional goals, whether in corporate leadership or entrepreneurship.

This was disclosed in a press release signed by its Grand Mentor, Engr Nasir Giwa.

He stated that the anniversary will officially kickoff on Saturday, July 3 and end on Sunday, August 1, 2021 with lined up activities to showcase the programmes of the platform.

It stated that the anniversery will feature discourses on ‘Financing an MBA Degree in a top Business school,’ ‘Networking,’ and essentials of a ‘Good Business Model’, with renowned experts from various fields.

According to Engr Giwa, a core activity of the anniversary is the Educational Support Programme, an outreach where hundreds of secondary school students in selected schools, will be exposed to the ‘Importance of Academic Excellence’ by some members of the mentorship network.

“We’ve invited some of our members, who are serious-minded students of higher institutions, aspiring entrepreneurs and career people who have excelled in their chosen fields of human endeavour. Three teams shall visit selected schools in Lagos State; including United High School, Ikorodu; Ansar-ud-Deen Grammar School, Surulere and Government Senior College, Victoria Island”, he revealed.

Engr. Giwa added that the peak of the anniversary is public seminar billed for 1st August, 2021.

“With the erudite scholar and Islamic Finance expert, Prof. Umar Oseni serving as the Guest Speaker, the event seeks to acquaint mentors, mentees and the general public with the knowledge required to set-up an interest-free fund.

“We envisage that this will be the start of a journey that will culminate in the set-up of the NGM Ethical Fund that will avail our members the opportunity to access interest-free facility,” he said.

Meanwhile, the anniversary will also feature presentation of cheque to the winner of the NGM Entrepreneurship Development Grant (NGMED) competition by the Lagos State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr Hakeem Fahm.
