NCDC has recorded 50 New COVID-19 cases and one death.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria. recorded 50 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 5 July 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 167,909.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report on, 2021.
The infections were recorded in Lagos-31, Yobe-11, FCT-4, Ogun-3, and Rivers-1.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,122 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 164,400 have recovered and have been discharged.
In other news, a total of 2,495,632 eligible persons have received their first jab, while 1,370,130 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose have collected their 2nd dose.
