Covid-19: Nigeria Records 98 New Cases As Infection Hits 168,540 

Nigeria has recorded 41 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 168,540.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 168,540 as 98 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 11th of July 2021.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 164,431 cases have been discharged and 2,212 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 3 states, with Lagos having the highest with 94 new cases.

In further report from NCDC, Ekiti had 3, FCT-1.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
