Nigerians Pay Tributes To Sound Sultan

Nigerian has started paying their last respect to Olarenwaju Fasasi Better known as Sound Sultan.

Gatekeepers News reports that the death of Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, Olarenwaju Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan, has sent shockwaves across the country with fans paying their last respect to the deceased.

Gatekeepers News has earlier reported that Sound Sultan, has died following a protracted struggle With cancer.

His death was announced in a statement Sunday morning by his family.

He was 44 at the time of his demise.

The statement said Sound Sultan died on Sunday of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.

“It is with heavy hearty that we announce the passing of multi-talented veteran singer, rapper, songwriter Olarenwaju Fasasi A.K.A sound Sultan.

“He passed away at the age of 44 following a hard fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.

“He is survived by his wife, Three children and his siblings.

“We his family will appreciate the utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss. ” The statement read.

Tributes have begun to pour in for the late musician on social media platforms especially Twitter.

Fans from different spheres of life have taken to the microblogging platform to pay their final respect.

Popular twitter influncer, JJ Omojuwa wrote: “Such a sad thing to wake up to, the passing of Sound Sultan. He was a class act through and through. May his soul rest in peace. Love and prayers to everyone he left behind. Terrible news.”

“The nicest, most humble and talented person you could ever know. Sound Sultan! Rest in peace,” Frank Edoho wrote.

Human Right activist, Aisha Yesufu, @AishaYesufu said: “Moments like this just make me wonder whether life itself is worth it!, Really hoped he was going to come and give us a testimony himself.Kai!, Every soul shall taste death. Sound Sultan has tasted his, remaining us.Innalillahi wa Inna ilayhi rajiun,May his soul rest in peace!”
