DSS Prevented Nnamdi Kanu From Getting UK Help – Lawyer

Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Monday, stated that the Department of State Services (DSS) prevented his client from getting help from the United Kingdom.

Gatekeepers News reports that Kanu who is a dual citizen of Nigeria and the UK is currently in DSS custody.

According to Ejimakor, Kanu was prevented from signing a consular assistance form from the UK.

Gatekeepers News reports that the embattled IPOB leader who was rearrested last month (June), is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony following his campaign for the secession of Republic of Biafra. He had jumped bail in 2017.
