Governors elected under the platform of APC have celebrated their Ebonyi State counterpart, Dave Umahi on his 58th birthday.
Gatekeepers News reports that Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under the auspices of Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) have celebrated their Ebonyi State counterpart, Dave Umahi on his 58th birthday.
The forum also hinted that it’s set to roll out programmes that would strengthen the capacities of APC governments at all levels to create jobs and stimulate economic activities.
Chairman of PGF Abubakar Bagudu dropped the hint in a congratulatory message to Ebonyi Governor David Umahi on his 58th birthday.
Bagudu reaffirmed the commitment and resolve of the Forum to reduce inequality and poverty in the country.
The forum while celebrating Umahi noted that he has exhibited and provided leadership not only to his people but the country in general.
The statement reads in part: “Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) joins all Nigerians, to celebrate with His Excellency, David Nweze Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi State on his 58th birthday. We celebrate this special occasion with your family, the good people of Ebonyi State, and other well-meaning Nigerians.
“We, in particular, wish to acknowledge and commend your leadership, vision, and commitment to a united prosperous Nigeria.
“Under the leadership of our party, APC, since you joined us, we acknowledge your contributions through your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of responding to challenges of governance both in Eboyi State and at the national level.
“Once more, as we rejoice with Governor David Nweze Umahi, we also reaffirm the commitment of Progressive Governors to roll out programmes that would strengthen the capacities of APC governments at all levels to create jobs, stimulate economic activity, reduce inequality and poverty in Nigeria.
