Secretary to the Government of the Federation has mourned the death of Prospective Corps Members.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha has mourned the death of four prospective members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who died in a ghastly motor accident along Abaji -Kwali Highway on Wednesday.
The Director(Information), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey made this known in a statement he signed on Thursday.
Bassey noted that the SGF is deeply saddened by the death of the young Nigerians whose lives were cut short in their prime in the tragic incident.
According to him, the deceased had “enormous potential to contribute to the growth and development of the country.”
The SGF, therefore, prayed to God to grant peaceful repose to the souls of the departed while condoling with the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, families of the deceased, the entire NYSC fold, and the University of Uyo.
