No fewer than ten persons were wounded after gunmen shot at a crowd outside a Queens laundromat on Saturday night in New York.

Gatekeepers News reports that officials of the New York Police Department confirmed the incident on Sunday, saying surveillance video showed how two masked and hooded suspects shot three known members of the Trinitarios street gang just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, as well as seven innocent bystanders.

According to the Police, some of the victims were attending a birthday party at a Corona restaurant.

The two suspects, after the shooting, were said to have fled the scene on two scooters driven by two other masked and hooded suspects. The Police believe all four suspects are men.

Police disclosed that eight men and two women, who ranged in age from 19 to 72, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Gatekeepers News reports that NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig called the shooting “a brazen, coordinated attack” during a Sunday news conference.

Essig also confirmed that while Saturday’s shooting has not been linked directly to any other recent crimes, the mass shooting appears to mirror other recent gang-related incidents, including the use of multiple guns, scooters and the wounding of innocent bystanders.
