Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC made this known on Friday, August 13.
While Lagos has the highest number of infected cases, 291, Rivers recorded 117 new cases.
Other states include Taraba (58), Akwa Ibom (54), Kwara (28), Ekiti (14).
Others include, Ogun (14), FCT (13), Oyo (11), Edo (9), Osun (6), Imo, Bayelsa (5), Delta (4), Gombe (4), Abia (3), Plateau (3) and Sokoto (1).
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 181,297 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 166,709.
The total number of death increased to be 2,211, revealing that 11 death case was recorded.
