Biden Visits Troops Wounded From Afghanistan

United States President, Joe Biden on Thursday visited service members that sustained injuries from Afghanistan.

Gatekeepers News reports that the service members sustained injury during last week’s attack outside Kabul airport. The attack left over a hundred person dead, including thirteen service members.

Biden, in company of the first Lady, Jill Biden traveled to Walter Reed medical center in Maryland to comfort the service members.

“Tonight, the President and first lady are visiting wounded warriors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center,” the White House said in a statement.

It was gathered that out of the 15 Marines being treated at Walter Reed, “one is in critical condition, three are in serious condition and 11 are in stable condition,” according to Marine Corps spokesman Maj. Jim Stenger.

Gatekeepers News  earlier reports that Biden and the first lady on Sunday attended a dignified transfer event to honour the return of the remains of the 13 service members killed in Kabul attack.

The couple who were joined by other high-ranking officials like the chiefs of four military service branches, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, also met with the families of the fallen service members.
