Cristiano Ronaldo has debuted his second spell at Manchester United with a brace.
Gatekeepers News reports that five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo who left United to join Real Madrid in 2009 has launched his return to the club with two goals against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Ronaldo having played for several clubs including Juventus his last, retained his famous No 7 jersey in his second spell at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo broke the deadlock of the match by netting a goal in the injury time of the first half, courtesy of Luke Shaw’s assist.
Although Manquillo was able to equalise at the early start of the second half, Ronaldo doubled his goal at the 62nd minute.
Paul Pogba’s pass to Bruno Fernandes gave the Reds their third at the 80th minute.
Jesse Lingard brought the match to a close after maximising Pogba’s second assist to end the game at 4-1 in favour of Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s men.
