Obasanjo Is Right – Fani-Kayode Goes To Where He Gets Food – Abaribe

Nigeria’s Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has reacted to the defection of Femi Fani-Kayode, from PDP to APC.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria’s Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has reacted to the defection of former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Fani-Kayode had officially joined APC yesterday during a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja FCT.

Fani-Kayode was presented to Buhari by the Caretaker Chairman of the APC, Mai Mala-Buni.

Reacting to the former minister’s defection when he appeared as a guest on Arise TV, Abaribe described Fani-Kayode as a confused human being.

Abaribe said Fani-Kayode’s defection confirmed former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s remark about his character.

Abaribe recalled that Obasanjo once said Fani-Kayode will always go to where there is “food.”

He said, “I do not want to dwell on his issue. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had said it all before ‘Femi Fani-Kayode is my boy. Provide him food, he will eat and then sing for you. He’s a smart boy.”

Abaribe also stressed that the PDP would return to power in 2023.

He stressed that the APC has done nothing good for Nigeria since assuming power in 2015.

“No one can really pinpoint any good thing done by APC since 2015. The PDP will win the presidential election in 2023,” he said.
