Covid-19: Nigeria Records 336 New Cases As Infection Hits 201,630 

Nigeria has recorded 336 New Covid-19 cases and five deaths as infection hits 201,630.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 201,630 as 336 new cases and five deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 19th of September 2021.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 190,288 cases have been discharged and 201,630 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 17 states, with Lagos having the highest with 86 new cases.

In further report from NCDC, Benue-48, Rivers-46, Bauchi-41, Edo-25, FCT-19, Akwa Ibom-13, Ondo-12, Anambra-11, Ekiti-8, Kwara-7, Plateau-7, Bayelsa-4, Kaduna-4, Delta-2, Ogun-2, Kano-1.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
