UK parliament has endorsed Nigeria’s first Netflix Series, ‘King Of Boys: The Return Of The King’.
Gatekeepers News reports that the seven-part project which was directed by leading director Kemi Adetiba, got a boost on Tuesday as it was been mentioned by the UK parliament during a Foreign Affairs Committee meeting.
Adetiba made the disclosure as she shared the video via her Instagram page with the caption: “As someone said, this is one to save to show the grandkids. #KOBArmy⚔️ How cool is this??? A KOB mention in the UK PARLIAMENT, during a Foreign Affairs Committee!! Watch to the end. The chairman’s obviously been bit by that #KOBArmyEnergy⚔️ too 😝 This made my day!!!”
Gatekeepers News reports that the series, released on August 27, is part two of the ‘King of Boys’ which was initially released in 2018. The series is a crime and political thriller that revolves around businesswoman, Alhaja Eniola Salami (Sola Shobowale)’s continuous quest for power as she returns to Nigeria after a five-year exile.
