Following several rounds of games played, Okeke Isaac has been crowned the winner of the U18 category of the Africa Youths Individual Chess Championship.
Gatekeepers News reports that Isaac worked hard intending to fly the country’s flag high continually.
The chess brainiac, in 2019, also stood out at the 2019 African Youth Chess Championship held in Windhoek, Namibia.
Okeke has, therefore, been recognised to be the youngest Nigerian to achieve International Master Status.
Nigerians, in their reactions to his recent victory, congratulated him for his achievements.
Some of the messages read that “A Huge Congratulations to Okeke Isaac for his victory in the U18 category of the Africa Youths Individual Chess Championship with a game to spare!”
