Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 161 new cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
Gatekeepers News reports that the new record has summed up the total cases in Nigeria to 205,926.
NCDC made this known in its daily record for Friday, October 1.
Lagos has the highest record of 45, while Kaduna 32, and Ondo 28.
Others include Kwara 12, Rivers 11, Edo 8, Ekiti, Niger and Zamfara 5.
Meanwhile, Plateau 4, Nasarawa 3, FCT 2, and Oyo 1.
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 205,926 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 193,798.
The total number of death increased to be 2,723, revealing that 3 death cases were recorded.
