Covid-19: Nigeria Records 138 New Cases As Infection Hits 206,064

Nigeria has recorded 138 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 206,064.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 206,064 as 138 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 3rd of October 2021.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 193,893 cases have been discharged and 2723 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 7 states, with FCT having the highest with 51 new cases.

In further report from NCDC, Anambra had 28, Lagos-24, Benue-18, Plateau-9, Kaduna-7, Jigawa-1.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
