Governors of the six states of the South-South geo-political zone are currently in a meeting at the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
Gatekeepers News reports that although the agenda for the meeting is yet to be made known, issues of the Value Added Tax and issues of Southern presidency in 2023 among others may dominate discussions.
The host governor, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, hosted Udom Gabriel Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom State), Douye Diri (Bayelsa State), Benedict Ayade (Cross River State), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta State), and Godwin Obaseki (Edo State).
