Nigeria has recorded 137 New Covid-19 cases and two deaths as infection hits 207,616.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 207,616 as 137 new cases and two deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 9th of October, 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 195,132 cases have been discharged and 2,745 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 4 states, with Lagos having the highest with 46 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, FCT had 35, Kaduna-20, Benue-13, Oyo-9, Kano-6, Rivers-6, Ekiti-1, Nasarawa-1.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
