I Suffered Concussion From Car Accident – Helen Paul

Nigerian comedian, Helen Paul has revealed she suffered a head injury during car accident.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigerian comedian and actress, Helen Paul, says she hid her pain from fans and friends after she was involved in an accident.

The 43-year-old comedienne took to her Instagram page on Sunday to share photos of the injury she sustained to her head after the car crash in Abuja.

She said she would often use dark sun shades to conceal her black eye but many people assumed it was a show of pride.

“I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while. When taking pictures, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them,” she wrote.

“Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star. They were totally oblivious of the true situation.

“Not all things are truly what they appear to be. Many are hiding a lot and showing the best side on social media. Focus on the majors and forget the minors.”

The comedienne’s incident comes to light after Destiny Etiko, Nollywood actress, and Oritsefemi, a singer, were also involved in separate car accidents.

Paul is a popular female comedian from Nigeria.

She broke out as a naughty comic character on the radio program Wetin Dey on Radio Continental 102.3FM, Lagos.

The Edo state born actress and comedienne is married with children.
