Nigeria's COVID-19 Cases Rise To 208153

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose to 208,153 on Tuesday as the nation records 175 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports the fresh cases were reported in 11 States; FCT-73, Lagos-34, Rivers-15, Gombe-13, Kano-10, Plateau-8, Katsina-6, Bauchi-5, Delta-5, Benue-4 and Nasarawa-2.

This was contained in the data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

“Today’s report includes 120 case recoveries from Edo State…7 states with zero cases reported: Edo, Ekiti, Ogun, Osun, Ondo Oyo and Sokoto,” NCDC noted.

Gatekeepers News reports that as of October 12, 2021, Nigeria has successfully managed 195,936 cases since the outbreak of COVID-19, while 2,756 persons lost their lives.
