Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 209713

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose to 209,713 on Wednesday with 167 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new infections were reported from nine (9) States; Taraba-109, Lagos-17, Plateau-16, Bauchi-11, Rivers-6, Delta-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Imo-2 and Bayelsa-1.

According to the NCDC, the 109 cases reported from Taraba State were for the 7th (22), 8th (2), 11th (5), 12th (5), 13th (14), 14th (27), 15th (14), and 20th (20) October 2021.

The report noted that Sokoto State recorded zero cases in the day under review.

As of October 20, 2021, Nigeria has recorded 197,724 recoveries and 2,840 deaths.
