A Twitter user @bucancyy has asked for a refund after he allegedly sent N200,000 to Nigerian singer, David Adeleke (Davido) by mistake.
Gatekeepers News reports that the ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ on Wednesday solicited funds from his fans via his Twitter page. The singer who said he needed N100 million to clear his Rolls Royce from the port shared the account numbers to which the payments should be sent.
@bucancyy claimed s/he mistakenly sent N200,000 to Davido instead N2,000. The Twitter user requested a refund of N198,000, noting that the money was meant for his/her school fee.
Gatekeepers News reports that over N140 million has been paid into the account in less than 24 hours and the account is still receiving credit alerts according to the singer’s updates.
