Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the country recorded 61 new cases of Covid-19 for Thursday.
Gatekeepers News reports that the pandemic has claimed 2,973 lives across the country since its outbreak in 2020.
The NCDC disclosed this in an update on its official social medka pages.
The update has it that 61 fresh cases were recorded across 9 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
NCDC has it that Gombe 16, Taraba 15, Zamfara 14, FCT 7, Kano 2, Lagos 2, Rivers 2, Bauchi 1, Delta 1, and Katsina 1.
No death case was recorded added to the current record, as the statistics remains at 2,973 deaths.
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 206,292.
