Covid-19: Nigeria Records 54 New Cases As Infection Hits 214,567 

Nigeria has recorded 41 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 214,567.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 214,567 as 54 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 4th of December 2021.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 207,427 cases have been discharged and 2,980 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 4 states, with Lagos having the highest with 25 new cases.

In further report from NCDC, Oyo had 11, FCT-6, Kwara-3, Rivers-3, Bauchi-2, Delta-2, Kano-1, Ogun-1.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
