Sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Sends Christmas Gifts To United Staff

Former manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent Christmas gifts to the club’s staff

Gatekeepers News reports that despite losing his job as the manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left the club’s staff emotional by sending Christmas gifts to them.

Last month, the Norwegian was axed by the Glazers after overseeing a nightmare start to the season. Following his dismissal which the club tagged “mutual” in a statement, Micheal Carrick stepped forward to balance the drowning team.

Following this, German Ralf Rangnick has been brought in to steady the ship as his interim replacement, winning two of his first three matches at the helm.

Solskjaer was not only a popular player at United, he was considered a legend given his famous winning score in the 1999 Champions League final.

The 48-year-old took over the managerial job at Old Trafford after the sack of Jose Mourinho in December 2018.

Under his spell in United, Solkjaer made solid progress in two years, finishing second and third during his two full seasons in charge, and also making last season’s Europa League final.

After signing the likes of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Cristiano Ronaldo during the summer, Solskjaer was, however, unable to get the best from his players.

Last month, Gatekeepers News reported that Manchester United announced that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as manager in less than 24 hours after he’d overseen a nightmare 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.

Despite this unhappy exit, a bundle of luxury Christmas hampers turned up at Manchester United’s training ground and was surprisingly from him.

Solskjaer is still held in great esteem among workers at United and his act of generosity made for some emotional scenes.
