Lagos Leads As Nigeria Records 730 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 730 new COVID-19 infections, taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 218,596.

Gatekeepers News reports that Lagos State led the infection chart with 431 cases, followed by FCT which recorded 174.

Others are;  Rivers-38, Ogun-32, Akwa Ibom-25, Anambra-11, Katsina-7, Bayelsa-4, Niger-4, Kano-3 and Ekiti-1.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.

NCDC, in its report, added that Tuesday’s report includes: 0 case reported from Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

As of December 14th, Nigeria has recorded 211,254 recoveries and 2,982 deaths.
