Nigeria has recorded 828 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 223,483.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 223,483 as 828 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 19thh of December 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 211,522 cases have been discharged and 2,984 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 14 states, with Rivers having the highest with 188 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Lagos had183, Delta-97, FCT-82, Oyo-67, Edo-54, Ekiti-34, Plateau-34, Kano-27, Anambra-22, Kaduna-19, Enugu-12, Ogun-5, Kwara-4.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
