Nigeria's COVID-19 Cases Hit 225255
Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases on Monday rose to 225,255 with 1368 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.

Lagos State led the infection chart with 844 cases, followed by FCT which recorded 209.

Others  are; Oyo-58, Abia-51, Ondo-39, Ogun-30, Kaduna-26, Delta-20, Akwa Ibom-17, Osun-15, Ekiti-12, Anambra-7, Zamfara-7, Cross, River-6, Kano-6, Kwara-6, Bauchi-5, Gombe-3 and Plateau-1.

NCDC, in its report, added that Monday’s report includes:

▪️7 confirmed cases reported from Anambra state for the 19th December 2021
▪️26 confirmed cases reported from Kaduna state for the 19th (10) & 20th (16) December 2021
▪️11 discharged cases reported from Anambra state for 19th December 2021
▪️13 Discharged cases reported from FCT for 20th December 2021
▪️ 0 cases reported from Sokoto State.
As of December 20th, Nigeria has recorded 211,660 recoveries and 2,985 deaths.
