A few months ago, Queen Naomi Silekunola, ex-wife of Ooni of Ife, prayed that the wives of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi multiplied while she eulogised him on her birthday.
Gatekeepers News recalls that Queen Naomi, a prophetess, knelt to hail and pray for the monarch at her dinner party in the palace, a scene that left many Nigerians gushing over a ‘perfect marriage’.
However, on Thursday, the Queen opened up in a statement first seen by Gatekeepers News on how she tried her “best to endure and make it (marriage) work; many times, I smiled through the struggle, but I have finally realised I had just one assignment, my son, and when God is done, He is done. He chose Saul to be king, and when He was done, He told the prophet Samuel I have moved on.”
Gatekeepers News can authoritatively report that Queen Silekunola did not walk away from her marriage because of other women but by what she encapsulated in her release “…His Majesty has a picture he would love the world to see and perceive him as and another one which is his true self.”
In an Exclusive on Village Square Africa on News Central TV, Queen Naomi spoke glowingly about the Ooni of Ife and extensively about the expectations of the public.
She called for more support for the Ooni of Ife and other traditional rulers and said the first-class monarchy is a good man who respects her and loves to be around people.
