Angela Kukawski, a business manager who worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and the Kardashian family, has been found murdered.
Gatekeepers News reports that Kukawski’s remains were discovered in the trunk of a car last Thursday with stab wounds to her body. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
The 55-year-old and mother-of-five died from sharp and blunt force trauma to the head and neck as well as strangulation, according to examiners.
The deceased’s boyfriend, Jason Barker has been arrested and Authorities in Ventura County have since filed murder charges against him.
He’s currently being held in Van Nuys Jail on a multi-million dollar bond.
Police are working on the allegation that Barker killed Angela in their Sherman Oaks home three days before Christmas and dumped her body in her car.
According to the Daily Mail, he then drove the vehicle to a relative’s home in Simi Valley before authorities were alerted to Ms Kukawski’s death.
Barker will be held at Van Nuys Jail until his next court appearance, which is on January 12.
Angela worked at Boulevard Management, a company that delivered financial management services to high-profile celebrities as well as rich individuals.
They had clients like the Kardashians, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, rapper Offset and even managed the estate of the late Tupac Shakur.
Angela was described as ‘hard-working’, ‘a straight shooter’ and was ‘beloved’ in the industry.
Her homicide has sent shockwaves through her business as well as with her client.
Boulevard Management’s Todd Bozick and Lester Knispel told Variety: “We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski.”
“Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”
The Kardashian family also released a statement to the Daily Mail, which said: “Angela was truly the best. She cared about everyone of us and made things happen that were impossible.
“She will be greatly missed and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time.”
