Position Title: Gender Consultant (TO 1 – TO 4)
Classification: STTA (Local)
Level of Effort: 40 Days
Dates: TBD
Location: Abuja, Nigeria with travel to selected states
Job Qualifications
· Advanced university degree in (Master’s Degree or equivalent degree) in gender and women’s rights, development studies, social science or law, gender studies, or related area. A relevant bachelor’s degree with additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
· A minimum of seven (7) of relevant experience which must include gender analysis, gender integration, and monitoring and evaluation of gender programs.
· Experience with building capacity on gender integration is essential.
· Experience implementing USAID gender integration approaches is desirable.
· Ability to communicate key gender concepts in multi-cultural settings is essential.
· Excellent technical writing and oral presentation skills highly desired
· Good attitude and work ethic
· Fluency in English is required
