Nigeria has recorded 249 New Covid-19 cases and 6 deaths as infection hits 251,178.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 251,178 as 249 new cases and 7 deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, 18th of January 2022.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 224,629 cases have been discharged and 3,110 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 15 states, with Lagos State, South West Nigeria, having the highest with 59 new cases.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
