Nigeria has recorded 22 New Covid-19 cases and a death as infection hits 254,243.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 254,243 as 22 new cases and a death were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 19th of January 2022.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 230,587 cases have been discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 6 States, with Lagos State, South West Nigeria, having the highest with 13 new cases.
