Osteopenia of the bones is a condition that occurs when the body doesn’t make new bone as quickly as it reabsorbs old bone.

The diagnosis of the 41-year-old followed the X-ray report of her pelvis and femur which shows there is the destruction of her right femoral head, sclerosis, multiple subchodral cysts, and widening of the acetabula rim.

Gatekeepers News gathered that all these began 22 years ago when she slipped in the bathroom during pregnancy which resulted in serious hip dislocation.

She was admitted for a long period and almost lost her life to the cold hands of death. While at the hospital, she underwent minor surgery.

Adewale after being discharged from the hospital could barely walk properly again. Since then the mother of three has been suffering and battling with this condition.

According to reports, recently, Adewale’s pain became unbearable and she find it difficult to lift her right femur which prompted her to visit the hospital for a medical checkup.

The result of the checkup turns out that she has osteopenia of the bones.

Upon review of the X-ray report, her condition ted with serious pains and discomfort, the doctor, therefore,  advised an immediate corrective surgical operation that will cost =N=2,000,000.00 (Two million naira only)

Raising the money is, therefore, a challenge to Adewale who lives with her husband, a tiller, and their boys (aged 10, 7, and 4) in a room apartment in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

Her husband whose job is not too lucrative is battling financial instability and the family is also facing a series of challenges.
