Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno State, Ali Bukar Dalori on Wednesday said the state will only vote in the direction as demanded by President Muhammadu Buhari come Saturday National Convention of the Party.
Gatekeepers News reports that Dalori stated that Borno is always proud to be associated with the President and pledged that no vote from the state will go elsewhere other than in the direction as instructed by Mr President.
Addressing Journalists shortly after the inauguration of APC State Working Committee Members at the party office in Maiduguri, the state capital, the Chairman said the state is ready to back all aspirants for the National Working Committee positions as endorsed by the President.
“We in Borno are set to give our block vote to aspirants that are endorsed by President Buhari. If the President ask us to go to the right or left, we will obey him”.
Dalori who is the Forum Chairman of all APC Chairmen in the country revealed that Borno is also supporting one of its own for the position of the Deputy National Chairman- North – a position he said has been Zone to the State.
The Chairman said that Incumbent Senator Abubakar Kyari is the aspirant the state is backing for the position of Deputy National Chairman- North ahead of Saturday’s election.
“We’re happy to announce that our aspirant has the backing of all the Nothern state. We are hopeful Senator Abubakar Kyari will emerge as the next Deputy National Chairman- North .” Dalori said.
