Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom, Southern Nigeria on Tuesday, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his Abeokuta residence to formally inform him of his presidential ambition.
Gatekeepers News reports that Udom, who says has sufficient private and public sector experience told Obasanjo that he is ready to rescue and restore the country.
Udom is contesting for the Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with the likes of Atiku Abubakar, Bukola Saraki, Nyesom Wike, Ayodele Fayose, Bala Mohammed, among others.
