Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar has deleted his earlier tweet which condemned the lynching of a College of Education Student, Deborah Samuel, in Sokoto, Northern Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that the former Vice-President, who aspires to be the number one citizen has pulled down his tweet over the heated comments it generated.

Many had accused him of taking sides with the alleged blasphemer who has since been lynched to death.

In reaction to this, many of those who commented on the post made it know that Atiku has lost their votes for trying to take side on the issue of blasphemy.

The former Vice President was also dared and accused for trying to sound politically correct instead of taking side with his faith, which according to the commentators, has been totally displeasing to them.

His media handlers, who swiftly considered the impact this would have on his campaign image in the North immediately deleted the post.
