Rapper and Record producer, Kendrick Lamar, has released his new album ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’.
Gatekeepers News reports that ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’, split into two volumes of nine tracks (totalling 18), featured notable collaborators, such as Blxst, Amanda Reifer, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Baby Keem, Sam Dew, Tanna Leone and Portishead’s Beth Gibbons.
In the tracks, painstakingly itemised his shortcomings, assessing his relationships with money (“United in Grief”), white women (“Worldwide Steppers”), his father (“Father Time”), the limits of his loyalty (“Rich Spirit”), love in the context of heteronormative relationships (“We Cry Together”, “Purple Hearts”), motivation (“Count Me Out”), responsibility (“Crown”), gender (“Auntie Diaries”) and generational trauma (“Mother I Sober”).
