Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested the accountant-general of the federation, Ahmed Idris, over alleged fraud.
Gatekeepers News reports that Idris was arrested in Kano State, North West Nigeria.
The details of the arrest are still sketchy at press time.
The commission, in a statement said it is investigating him over alleged misappropriation of funds to the tune of N80 billion.
