Tesla boss, Elon Musk has challenged a sexual abuse accuser to describe any unique part of his body.
Gatekeepers News reports that Musk was accused of exposing himself to a flight attendant on board one of his private planes in 2016 – and SpaceX later paid the woman $250,000 to settle her sexual misconduct lawsuit.
The tech mogul was also accused of rubbing the flight attendant’s leg without permission and offering to buy her a horse if she gave him an erotic massage onboard the plane, Business Insider reported Thursday, citing documents and interviews.
The alleged incident took place in a cabin on board one of Musk’s planes during a flight to London.
According to a statement from the friend obtained by Insider, the flight attendant told a friend that Musk asked her to come to his room for an in-flight massage.
The statement said Musk “exposed his genitals” during the massage and then “touched her leg and offered to buy her a horse if she would ‘do more,’ which was related to sexual activity,” Insider reported.
The flight attendant, who rides horses, declined the massage and ended it without engaging in any sexual activity, the insider statement said.
Musk, hours after Insider released the report, challenged the accuser’s friend, who was reportedly told about the alleged incident shortly after it happened.
“I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public. She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened,” Musk tweeted.
Musk responded on Twitter to a commenter who wondered, “Where were those wild allegations against @elonmusk before he took a stand against the establishment?”
“Exactly,” tweeted Musk who is in the process of acquiring Twitter for $44 billion.
He further described the woman, a former flight attendant and SpaceX employee who worked on his private jet, as a “far-left activist/actress in LA with a big political axe.”
Another tweeter user asked Musk if he had responded to Insider’s request for comment, to which the world’s richest person replied, “No, it was clear their only goal was a hit prize [sic] to disrupt the Twitter acquisition. The story was written before they even spoke to me.”
Musk was quoted in the original Insider article as saying that “there’s a lot more to this story.”
“If I’ve had any complicity in sexual harassment, this probably isn’t the first time in my entire 30-year career that it has come to light,” he wrote to Insider.
Musk also criticized the news site for publishing a “politically motivated hit article.”
“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is your usual (despicable) playbook – but nothing will stop me from fighting for a bright future and your right to free speech.” he wrote in a tweet.
“And for the record, these wild accusations are dead wrong,” he added in another tweet.
