I have to first thank God almighty for giving us life and the strength to conquer our shortcomings.
I am still in the stages of speechlessness and full of thanks, gratitude and respect, for first our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for giving myself and other aspirants, a worthy platform to showcase our skills and to serve our motherland, Nigeria.
I wish to also thank her leadership, from the national level, ably led by H.E Senator it Iyorchia Ayu to the ward leaders who saw to it that the primary exercise was conducted in a free, fair and peaceful setting.
I wish to thank my fellow aspirants, some of whom I have come to find friendship with, because it is my belief that politics should be a tool for togetherness and change and not enmity and hate. To them I say congratulations, because we’re all winners and my door is ever open to them to join our movement in making Anambra North Senatorial District, greater than before.
To the delegates, I say a big thank you for believing in my ability and experience to move our district forward.
In this era of money politics, you refused to be swayed by influence from any quarters, because you believed in what was right. I’m proud and grateful to call you comrades, in the struggle for a better Nigeria through transparent transformation.
My beloved political family, the SSO team, I say we have just begun. We are on a winning movement and all hands must be on deck. You all have been a part of our great struggle to make Anambra North great again and this time, we shall do more. I thank you all for always standing by me and for believing in my dreams.
Ndị Anambra North Umunnem, the time has come for us to come together and create a force so strong that nothing can stop the transformation movement. I promise to always put your interests first and to always remain steadfast in discharging my duties as the lawmaker representing you in the National Assembly.
To the rest of the country, watch out for Anambra North Senatorial District. We’re the people to beat.
Once again, I thank God Almighty for His unfailing mercies, guidance and protection.
