Former acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has been decorated as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).
Gatekeepers News reported in May that Magu’s promotion was confirmed by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Magu was decorated by the Inspector-general of Police (IGP), Usman Baba, at the police headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The development comes as Magu is expected to retire from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), having clocked the mandatory retirement age of 60 in May.
