Adekunle Akinlade, a former federal lawmaker has praised Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as our party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2023 general elections.
Gatekeepers News reports that Akinlade in a statement signed by his media aide, Azeez Adelani on Thursday, said Tinubu’s contribution to the nation’s democracy cannot be over-emphasised.
The statement read in part, “I have no doubt in me that; Asiwaju will bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to build on the enduring legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari while addressing the yearnings of Nigerians in areas such as insecurity, dwindling economic fortunes among others.
“Asiwaju’s efforts and contribution to the entrenchment and deepening of our nation’s democracy can not be over emphasized and it is my prayer that the Almighty God grant him the health, wisdom, and the wherewithal to achieve success in the general elections.
“Congratulations as we match to victory with our great party – All Progressives Congress in 2023 and beyond.”
